Joey brought Colter and Kya down to stay with us for the weekend. They got to our house around 10:30 pm on friday, so we tried to put the kids right to bed. It didn't work very well. All of us were so excited so we were up until about midnight with the kids. Cleve and I pulled our mattress out in the the family room and put it in between the two couches. Cleve and Joey slept on the couches and I slept on the mattress in between the two kids---not a very restful night. hahahahaha...I should have known that the couches would be more comfortable that night.
Our first attempt to put Colter and Kya to bed. But as you can see, they weren't falling asleep any time soon.
We set Joey up on a date with one of my friends, Jordan. We went shotgun shooting, roasted marshmallows and donut holes, and took the kids to McDonald's. We had a lot of fun, but Colter didn't like the sound of the guns, so we took turns taking him for hikes.

Yay! A new post! Your nieces and nephews look like a lot of fun! They are lucky to have you guys as fun aunt and uncle.
